Baekmi Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides these audio player applications. This policy explains how information is handled when you use them. Trial-specific processing is clearly identified below.
1. Information processed by SRE Audio Trial
SRE Audio Trial uses a limited entitlement service to provide a time-limited trial and to reduce repeated or abusive trial activation.
- Pseudonymous trial identifier: the trial service stores a one-way HMAC value (
device_key_hmac) used to recognize the trial entitlement. The underlying raw device identifier is not stored in the trial entitlement database. - Trial entitlement data: trial start time, trial end time, last verification time, and entitlement revision/status information.
- Google Play Integrity: integrity information may be processed to verify that the app and device environment are legitimate and to help prevent abuse. It is used for security and entitlement verification, not for advertising or behavioral profiling.
- Technical request data: normal network and security infrastructure may temporarily process information such as request time, IP address, and diagnostic/security data needed to deliver and protect the service.
The paid SRE Audio app does not require the Trial entitlement service in order to unlock Premium functionality.
2. Local music and media information
SRE Audio may access audio files, folders, playlists, album artwork, and media metadata that you choose to make available to the app. This information is used to build the library and play audio on your device. Baekmi Labs does not upload your local music files to its Trial entitlement service.
3. OneDrive and WebDAV
If you choose to connect OneDrive or a WebDAV server, the app processes the account authorization, server address, credentials or access tokens, file listings, and audio data required to provide that feature.
- OneDrive authentication and file access are provided through Microsoft services under your authorization.
- WebDAV connections are made to the server you configure.
- Cloud audio data is used to browse and stream your selected media. Baekmi Labs does not operate a cloud music locker for your files.
4. How we use information
Information is processed only as needed to:
- provide audio playback, library, and cloud-source features;
- activate and verify the SRE Audio Trial period;
- prevent repeated trial abuse, tampering, fraud, or unauthorized use;
- maintain reliability, diagnose failures, and protect the service; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Trial entitlement data for third-party advertising or cross-app behavioral profiling.
5. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be processed by service providers only where required to deliver the features you use, including:
- Google Play / Google Play Integrity for app integrity and anti-abuse verification;
- Cloudflare infrastructure used to operate and protect the Trial entitlement service;
- Microsoft OneDrive when you voluntarily connect a Microsoft account; and
- your WebDAV provider/server when you voluntarily configure a WebDAV connection.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or our legal rights.
6. Data retention
Trial entitlement records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to enforce the trial, prevent repeated trial abuse, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Diagnostic and security data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Local library data and locally stored connection settings remain on your device unless you delete them, clear app data, uninstall the app, or remove the related connection. Data held by Microsoft, your WebDAV provider, or another third party is governed by that provider’s own policies.
7. Data deletion and privacy requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Baekmi Labs by contacting us at support@baekmilabs.com. We may need reasonable information to verify and locate the relevant record. Some limited information may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children
SRE Audio is not designed to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling. If we learn that information has been collected in a manner inconsistent with applicable child-protection law, we will take appropriate steps.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the apps, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
